Et tu Kodak?

Well, it happened, Kodak has finally retired it's infamous kodachrome transparency film. I remember when I started using it 6 years ago in an attempt to get richer colors in my digital scans. What I got was a pain in my ass. The film is awesomely archival, but, alas, did not translate so well in the Nikon film scanner.

I also remember having to send it off to Kodak, since there were like only two places in the country that developed it, and waiting for a week to get it back. Technology comes and technology goes, it's been happening since the birth of photography with the daguerreotype.

Good night sweet prince.

In preparation for my upcoming move to Brooklyn, I am going to sell a bunch of prints that I have in storage in my apartment. I would rather have the space on my walls in Brooklyn for new work! Currently, I am selling my seascape series for $100 a print. They are all sized at 13″x19″ and come signed and dated. There is only one print of each image, so contact me quick with the one you want!
